About Victoria
THE PERSONbehind it.
I trained as a yoga teacher first, then went deep into Pilates — teaching 1:1s, duets, group mat, group Reformer, and full studio equipment sessions in Sydney, Australia. Over 13 years of teaching later, I keep coming back to the Reformer. And now I absolutely love the Tower too.
When I arrived in Portugal eight years ago, heavily pregnant and desperate for a Reformer class, there was simply nowhere to go. So I built what was missing. I opened the first group Reformer Pilates studio in the area, and it grew entirely by word of mouth.
I wanted to combine my love of the Algarve with Reformer Pilates — and that is exactly why I started The Reformer Experience. Private retreats, built around movement, food, and this place I have called home for eight years.
I know the best chef in this valley. I know the restaurant in the village that doesn’t have a website. I know the beach that isn’t on Google. That local knowledge is woven into every retreat I run.

One hour. Three modalities. Compression legs, red light therapy blanket, and infrared sauna — 15 minutes each — then the room is yours to relax, make tea, and shower. Add a private Reformer session if you want to move too.
