Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 12 October 2026. This policy explains what personal data Reformer Pilates Algarve collects, why, and what your rights are. We keep it as plain as we can.

Who we are.

Reformer Pilates Algarve is a Pilates studio run by Victoria Barton, located at Edificio Doza, Av. 5 de Outubro 143, 8135-100 Almancil, Algarve, Portugal. For anything related to your personal data, contact hello@reformerpilatesalgarve.com.

What we collect and why.

• Contact form and email, when you write to us, we receive your name, email address, and message. We use it to reply to you. The contact form sends your enquiry through Formspree so we can reply by email.
• WhatsApp and phone, if you message or call us, we see your number and messages. We use them to arrange classes and answer questions.
• Bookings, class bookings and payments are handled by Momence, our booking platform. Momence processes your account, booking, and payment details under its own privacy policy.
• Health information you choose to share, if you tell us about an injury or condition so we can teach you safely, we treat that information with particular care and use it only for that purpose.

Workshop bookings and email updates.

When you reserve a workshop place, we store your name, email address, telephone number and booking details in our booking system hosted by Render. We use these details to manage your reservation and send information about that workshop. Your name and email address are also stored in Resend, our email provider, in a workshop contact list.

News about other classes, workshops and studio offers is optional. If you tick the marketing box, we record your choice, the wording shown and the date. You can book without subscribing. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by emailing us. This does not stop essential messages about an existing booking. We retain a record of your choice to respect it.

What this website itself does.

The website does not include our own analytics or advertising trackers. It uses third-party services: Momence for bookings, Formspree for contact enquiries, Google Fonts for typefaces, Google Maps for directions, and Amazon CloudFront for images. These services may receive your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.

Legal basis.

We process your data to take steps you ask of us (answering enquiries, arranging sessions, contract), to run the studio safely and effectively (legitimate interest), and, for any health information you share, with your consent.

How long we keep it.

Emails and messages are kept as long as needed to manage our relationship with you, and booking records as long as Portuguese tax and accounting law requires. If you stop coming to the studio and ask us to delete your details, we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights.

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and take your data elsewhere. Email hello@reformerpilatesalgarve.com and we will respond within a month. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Sharing.

We do not sell your data or share it for another company’s marketing. Data is shared only with the service providers named above, and only so the studio can operate.
